When it comes to notebooks, size matters - in more ways than one. Generally, the larger the notebook, the more powerful the notebook - but that also means a heavy notebook, which defeats the purpose of having a PC you can carry with you wherever you go. Start off deciding on screen size. I have a notebook with a 15-inch screen and one with a 14-inch screen, and I prefer the smaller sized screen. The smaller-screen notebook weighs less, and I find a 15-inch screen overkill, especially because it forces you to use the notebook at such a high resolution that it actually makes computing more difficult.
