PopCap and Nuclide.com’s Rocket Mania sees it’s debut for Palm Powered™ Handhelds and Pocket PC Devices
Astraware, the top developer and publisher of games for PDAs, today announces the release of Rocket Mania, converted for both Palm OS and Pocket PC handhelds by Astraware from the original web and PC based version from PopCap and Nuclide Games, it retains all the stunning pyrotechnic features, stunning music and addictive gameplay of the original.

“Soon after Rocket Mania was released, our customers started asking us for a handheld version. Who better to develop it than Astraware? We knew Rocket Mania would work great on a PDA because it is so natural to play the game by tapping the screen.” said Luc Van den Borre, CEO of Nuclide.com. “This PDA version of Rocket Mania has all the fun and excitement of the PC version, and being able to play on the go really adds another dimension. I expect our players will love it!”

The game launches players into a world of fireworks and fuses, making them perform spectacular displays to thrill the crowds, as they complete fuses to link a burning match to one or more rockets. The game features 2 play modes, Classic and Strategy, to suit both frantic or thoughtful players, and a third Action mode will be released shortly as free upgrade for registered customers.

"Rocket Mania mixes captivating gameplay with great sound and visual effects, and adds some great character with its cute dragon and cool ranks." said Howard Tomlinson, CEO of Astraware. "All of this makes for a superb combination, and as soon as I saw the game, I knew it would be a magical game for our PDA audience. Now everyone can be a Curious Badger!"

Rocket Mania is available for Palm OS® and Microsoft Mobile OS Pocket PC based devices at Astraware’s website, www.astraware.com, priced at $17.95.
