DreamQuest Software Ready for World's First Wireless Card Game Tournament
On Saturday, November 16, 2002, DreamQuest Software will conduct the world's first-ever wireless card game tournament. The tournament will begin at 4 p.m. PST in DreamQuest Software's free Internet lobby. Entrants will play either DreamQuest Software’s Championship Hearts or Championship Spades, both of which were recently honored by Pocket PC Magazine as the best card games for PDAs, and compete on cell phones or PDA handhelds equipped with wireless access to the Internet. Competitors will challenge each other for prizes donated from Nokia, Handango and others. The Grand Prize winner will receive a Nokia 9290 Communicator as featured in this summer's blockbuster movie, Minority Report.

"The future of wireless gaming begins here, as we hope our tournament will clearly demonstrate that card games don't have to be limited to just your desktop PC or around a dining room table," said Christopher Williamson, DreamQuest Software's president and CEO. "Based on the number of players who have already registered for this tournament, we expect to offer a fun and exciting evening complete with lively competition from players all over the world!"

Championship Spades and Championship Hearts are two of the first truly cross-platform wireless games in the industry. These card games are highly regarded for the strength of their design, the challenge of their game-play, and the enjoyment players get from playing on a multitude of platforms. DreamQuest Software’s wireless card playing customers even get to experience playing and chatting online in the company’s free Internet lobby.
