PhatWare Brings Portuguese, Dutch Handwriting Recognition To Pen-Enabled PCs Via New PenOffice 2.5
PhatWare Corporation, a leading provider of software products and professional services for mobile and desktop computers, today announced the release of PenOffice 2.5, the newest
version of PhatWare's popular handwriting recognition software for Windows Powered Desktop, Portable, and Tablet PCs. In addition to numerous performance optimizations and improvements, PenOffice 2.5 now supports handwriting recognition in Dutch and Portuguese (Brazilian and European) languages, bringing an increased international capability to pen based PC users everywhere.

PenOffice is available in two editions: PenOffice English Edition, which includes only the English handwriting recognition engine; and PenOffice Multilingual Edition, which includes support for English, French, German, Italian, Spanishand now Portuguese and Dutch. Also included in PenOffice 2.5 are improvements to its ScratchPad onscreen note-taking feature.

PenOffice 2.5 is available as a FREE upgrade for PenOffice 2.X users; for others, the base price for PenOffice 2.5 English Edition is $49.95, while PenOffice 2.5 Multilingual Edition is $99.95. Both products can be purchased directly from the PhatWare company website, www.phatware.com
