| Overall this billfold PDA holder is very nice. The leather is supple and will wear well. I only have a few things to say negative about the Krusell PDA billfold; one, I personally do not use my Cassiopeia as a walkman to listen to contraband music downloaded from the Internet. The headphone jack cutout is not a requirement for me. I'd rather not have the hole and gain the added protection to keep little bits of stuff from getting into my investment. Two, the alignment of the holes could be better. I find myself pushing my Cassiopeia down into the billfold to keep the holes lined up every time I open it and turn it on. This could be fixed by lengthening the leather an eighth of an inch and cutting the holes to align better.
On a very positive note I love the belt clip! I work in a retail environment where I find myself coming in to contact with counter tops. Prior to owning a Cassiopeia I owned a Handspring with a belt holster. The holster reminded me of what a StarTAC would fit in. It provided almost no protection and was a bad choice on my part. It also came off my belt a couple of times. Ouch! I have not had these problems with this unit. Additionally, the flap is reinforced to provide protection for the screen and even has slots to hold memory cards, ID and a bank card. I did not have any problems with my ID protruding on to my screen with the flap closed. Overall, the Krusell PDA billfold is of a very high quality and will serve me well in the years to come. Guest Reviewer: Mike D. Editors Note: I also found the product to be well built and confortable in the hand. I would like to note that while some people listen to contraband music, I always convert my new CD's to MP3 and WMA format (for PocketPC) so that I have something to listen to on my frequent plane trips. The headphone jack access is also valuable for using your PDA as a portable jukebox for taking to parties. It would be nice if Krusell had a leather flap or cover for it but i have never seen any other cases with this feature as of yet. Another important feature about the Krusell products that was not available for Mike to test is the ability to swap out the belt clip system called Multidapt. This alows you to use a whole set whole of other clips such as a Nokia style belt clip, car mount, bicycle mount, full metal industrial belt clip and many more. Here are all the accessories for this case: http://www.krusell.se/handit.asp I think this is the only case I have seen with this much customization. Custom designed cases are currently available for: Casio Cassiopeia EM-500 Casio Cassiopeia E-115/ E-125 Compaq iPAQ Compaq iPAQ with sleeve Handera Handspring Edge Handspring Visor, De Luxe, Platinum, Prism, Pro, Neo HP Jornada 525/545/548 IBM Workpad C3 Palm IIIc/ VII Palm V/ Vx/m500 Palm m100/m105 Siemens IC35 Sony Clié S-300, S-500C Sony PEG 600/700-series --Bill Landon You can visit the Krusell website here: http://www.krusell.se/handit.asp |
