Remote access from your PDA is becoming more and more a necessity these days. No one likes being tethered to his or her Visor cradle. When I received the Rhino Skin case, I pulled my Palm out of the aluminum-trimmed plastic Palm-made case, and compared the two. The plastic case actually seemed heavier. Both use a stylus-like rod to go into the left stylus slot in the Vx (the Rhino Skin case uses a plastic sleeve over the aluminum rod to make it fit the Vx – without the sleeve the smaller sized rod fits the M-505 nicely). As a guy with fairly big hands, I found a long time ago that the little stylus that came with my PDA is just too small for comfort. There are a lot of nice pen-style styli and I’ve tried a bunch. I’ve found it’s best if the stylus has a normal writing point, as well, or you end up with a pocket full of writing implements. This one fits that bill, and more. More... | |
While handwritten character recognition has come a long way and is very effective for inputting small amounts of information, nobody has invented a better character input device than the basic keyboard.
