imagePumatech, Inc. (Nasdaq: PUMA), a leading provider of synchronization software and services, today announced that Garmin International, Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (Nasdaq: GRMN), a
leader in Global Positioning System (GPS) technology and an innovator in consumer electronics, has selected Pumatech's Intellisync* Lite software to supply PIM-related synchronization capabilities for its new, iQue* 3600 handheld device - the first PDA to include integrated GPS technology.

Pumatech's Intellisync Lite software will be bundled with the iQue 3600 to offer synchronization of calendar, contact and task data between the new Palm OS*-based PDA and the Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Organizer software applications. In addition to bundling Intellisync Lite with its new iQue 3600 PDA, Garmin currently integrates Pumatech's Intellisync synchronization engine into its NavTalk GSM phone, providing synchronization of address book information with Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, ACT! and Palm Desktop software.

Garmin iQue 3600 owners are entitled to upgrade to the full version of Intellisync for the special price of $49.95 - a savings of $20. By upgrading, iQue 3600 users gain extra features such as support for additional PC applications, data filtering, conflict resolution, synchronization of expenses and much more.
