Paragon Software (SHDD) officially announces the new 4.14 version of
world best-selling SlovoEd dictionaries product line for Palm OS based
devices. This release is to make SlovoEd even more user-friendly with
many enhancements taking into account customer's wishes. Popular eBook-readers
TiBR Pro and Plucker are supported now: you can select any word from
the eBook you are reading and get the translation with SlovoEd resident
module without leaving the eBook. Resident module is now working on
devices with hardware keyboard (Tungsten W, Treo 600, Treo 270). Also,
the new engine supports full-screen 320x480 and 480x320 resolutions and
such new devices as Xplore G88 and Tungsten T5.
As usual, SlovoEd 4.14 comes with the vide variesty of new lexicons from known linguistic companies, specially adapted for usage on Palm OS based devices. Lexicons powered by Ultralingua, the well-known in USA and Europe linguistic company: * The French dictionary; * The English dictionary; * Italian-English–Italian; * Portuguese-English–Portuguese; * French–Spanish-French; * Latin-English-Latin; * Spanish-Portuguese–Spanish. Lexicons based on the leading VOX dictionary solution (www.vox.es), the best-quality and famous in Spain as well as in US dictionaries of "classic" Spanish, powered by Spes Editorial (www.larousse.es; www.diccionarios.com): * The Spanish dictionary (Diccionario General de la Lengua Espanol); * Spanish–English-Spanish. The new achievement in SlovoEd technology - Arabic language support: * English-Arabic-English dictionary by Abdelsattar Ali; * Russian-Arabic-Russian dictionary by MMTech.
