The improvements are: more speeds to choose from, a tray icon allowing changing the frequencies on the fly, support for even more devices (LOOX, Axim, Toshiba etc), bug fixed, a feature preserving the speed even after power off/power on etc. The 472MHz option is reported to be stable by many users of Hack Master, adding more than 20% to the performance of their Pocket PCs.
