FranklinCovey Releases PlanPlus(TM) 3.0 for Microsoft(R) Outlook(R)
FranklinCovey(R) (NYSE:FC) and Agilix Labs(TM), Inc. announce the release of PlanPlus(TM) 3.0 for Microsoft(R) Outlook(R), an upgrade to the companies' planning and information management application for desktop, notebook, and Tablet PC users running Microsoft Outlook.

PlanPlus 3.0 for Microsoft Outlook, which enhances Outlook by seamlessly integrating the proven planning methods from FranklinCovey within the Outlook application, has multiple new features including the Project Tasks List, improved Home View, and an improved Palm OS(R) conduit synchronization.

The addition of the Project Task List feature gives users the ability to organize their workload by projects. The Project Task List allows users to create a hierarchical view of all tasks related to a specific project. The tasks will automatically appear in the user's Daily Task List on the assigned day. Similar to the Daily Task List tool, users may apply status codes to tasks associated with a project.

"The Project Tasks List was one of the most requested features by our customers," said Jeff Anderson, FranklinCovey vice president of technology, binders and cases. "The addition of this feature will enhance a user's effectiveness and ability to organize by breaking projects down into more manageable tasks. The Project Tasks List combined with the FranklinCovey Planning System(TM) and other features on PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook give users a powerful planning application."

In addition to the Project Tasks List, the software's improved Home View allows users to look at their calendar, e-mail, notes, and task list simultaneously.

Users will also be able to capture their information with PowerNotes and Daily Notes so that important information can be easily organized and stored.

The user of the traditional FranklinCovey Planning Pages will be able to take advantage of the printing capabilities of PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook, which provides the ability to print Outlook and PlanPlus information to four different sizes of paper planner pages.

PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook is based on the FranklinCovey Planning System and includes tools to assist users in getting organized and focused on priorities to increase effectiveness. The software includes the Weekly Planning and Goal Planning tools taught in FranklinCovey's FOCUS: Achieving Your Highest Priorities workshop to assist users in implementing planning methods and also supports the planning portion of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People(R) workshop.

Users will be able to use the "Coach Me" Dynamic Help feature which provides examples and resources for using all of the FranklinCovey tools. Exclusive interactive "Wizards" teach users how to discover their mission and values, set and achieve goals, create balance in their professional and personal roles, and create a realistic weekly plan to achieve the highest priorities in a user's life.

For the mobile user, PlanPlus offers synchronization with Palm OS and Pocket PC handhelds for accessing information. Tablet PC users will have digital ink support for taking notes in their own handwriting within the PowerNotes notetaking and note management module.

FranklinCovey also offers PlanPlus for Windows(R) XP software for customers who are not Outlook-centric but wish to incorporate the planning system on a Windows XP computer.
